Celebrating Our Rights in the Mother City

The Mother City is alive with Free Events to celebrate this Human Rights Day
Officially declared a public holiday in 1994, Human Rights Day, which is on the 21st of March of every year, is a reminder of those who fought for our rights and country and the tragic events at the Sharpeville massacre.
This year, the national day off falls on a Thursday which gives everyone more reason to have a extra long weekend (except myself) and what better way to celebrate this day than with some of Cape Town's free events.
